PARADE FAQ

We are excited for your interest in participating in this year’s Four Freedoms Veterans Parade! To ensure we have a SAFE and fun parade, please follow the information below.

• We welcome parade participants! Please register for the parade online today!
• We appreciate our sponsors! The parade would not be possible without their support.
• Sponsorship opportunities are available online.
• Your donations are 100% utilized by the Four Freedoms Veterans Parade. Our board members are made up entirely of volunteers but we have significant yearly expenses. These expenses are signage, marketing, police officers, insurance, permits, website services, porta johns, stamps, mailers, etc. A normal year for us ranges between $5000 and $9000 dollars of expenses. We have ideas to make bigger better events but simply do not have the funding.
• The Parade is held every year on the 2nd Saturday in November.
• The Parade route follows West Franklin Street.
• Parade attendees can view the parade along West Franklin Street between St. Joe Avenue and Wabash Avenue of Flags. Please do not block the doors to the businesses along the parade route.
• City ordinance prevents throwing of candy (walking and handing out is the only option).
• No alcoholic beverages are to be consumed by drivers and participants during the parade.
